Genera Studios has released Stock Up Drums, a free sample pack featuring 250 one-shots, 60 loops and 7 noise samples.

We wanted to create a pack of free drums sounds for people who don’t have any and need to stock up, but don’t have any money to buy them. As a result we made this pack to be pretty broad in its potential genre application, and you’ll find drums with analog, acoustic, and digital sound sources in this pack.

Organic Drum Loops is a brand new site that offers musicians and produces over 1400 drum loops. Covering a wide variety of genres and time signatures, the site is 100% royalty free.  As the founder (and drummer) Bill Mead notes:

I spend a ridiculous amount of time recording and making drum loops using exclusively drums that are fitted with calfskin heads. The sound is unique, and well, the playing is too, if I may say so . . .

The entire site is free, I’m not trying to upsell you on anything or manipulate you like everyone else out there. This is purely a method for distributing my artistic intentions, and hopefully like many others, you’ll find this stuff fresh and somewhat useful. There is a basic license you need to agree to upon creating an account, this is just to protect my ass and monitor who is using the site, the loops/samples are all royalty-free.
