Decomposer has released Sitala, a free virtual drum instrument and standalone app for Windows and Mac.

Sitala has a user friendly interface with four main control options: shape, compression, tuning and volume. Each option can be applied to one of the sixteen drum pads and allows you to shape and modify your drum samples.

Currently, two drum kits (808 and 909) are included with Sitala but you have the option to load in your own samples and save your favorite kits and presets.

The plugin is in its alpha stage but it seems to be glitch free. For more information and to download the plugin check out the direct link below.
