Ldaysynths Releases Poly-LD8 Virtual Synthesizer Plugin
Ldaysynths has released another free VST plugin: Poly-LD8, a free 8 voice polyphonic synthesizer plugin for windows-based DAWs.
As suggested by the name, the Poly-LD8 is inspired by the legendary Korg Poly-800 analog synthesizer from the 1980s. A direct rival to the Roland Juno-106 and a synthesizer that epitomizes Korg’s “80s Sound”.
The VST plugin is only available in 32bit format currently and offers only 5 built in presets (comparable to the 88 in the original Poly 800), but hosts a bunch of great features including:
- 2 Poly-800 OSC’s with scaleable overtones and pan
- 2 ADBSSR envelope generators
- 1 low pass resonance filter with ADBSSR envelope generator
- 1 noise generator
- 1 LFO with sinewave for OSC, filter and velocity and delay
- master volume wired to the velocity
- 1 chorus + 1 host synced ping-pong delay
With a rich and pleasant timbre, the Poly-LD8 would make a great addition to any music producer’s synth library and can be downloaded for free via the link below.
